Minnesota’s North Shore

Thursday, September 24th, 2009

Since we were up in Lutsen, MN for a Jesse Valley Photography wedding, we booked a room for an extra day to hike along the North Shore and take some photos. The weather was amazing for the end of September, and the scenery was breathtaking. These are just a few of the images I made, but I will have them and some more for sale at the studio and in an online gallery at www.jessevalley.com (click the “Fine Art” link).

Lisa and I also took photos during this trip for the next installment of our Jesse vs Lisa Shoot Outs. Look for that to be published soon.

If you ever get the chance to visit MN’s North Shore in autumn, I highly recommend it.

Fine Art Photo of the Week XII

This photo near downtown St. Paul demonstrates what my wife Lisa calls “Light Graffiti.” It happens when light reflects onto things in interesting effects and patterns. To see one of her examples of this, click here.
